Iddie Amin Fredouse was honoured by the Presbyterian Church at their 24th General Assembly for his outstanding contribution to education and was recognized as the second runner-up at the 2023 Ghana Teacher Prize. An inspiring story of dedication, passion, and divine guidance.


At the 24th General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana held in Abetifi, Iddie Amin Fredouse was celebrated for his remarkable contribution to the teaching profession. Fredouse, who was named the second runner-up at the 2023 Ghana Teacher Prize, received this prestigious honour in recognition of his outstanding work as a teacher in a Presbyterian school.

Fredouse’s achievement not only highlights his dedication to education but also brings pride to the Presbyterian Church for its role in raising its image at the national level. Being recognized among distinguished leaders in the Church was a humbling experience for Fredouse, who expressed deep gratitude for the recognition of his efforts.

In reflecting on this honour, Fredouse shared a heartfelt message, attributing his success to divine guidance. “When God decides to shine His light on you, your brightness will be unmatched,” he said. He encouraged others not to give up, no matter the challenges they face, emphasizing that perseverance and faith will eventually lead to recognition.

“My name is Chief, and I am that boy who followed his passion,” Fredouse added, reminding everyone that the future holds endless possibilities. His journey serves as an inspiration to many, showcasing the impact of dedication, passion, and faith in achieving greatness.
