Pearl Lulu, a female teacher in Hohoe, was reportedly found dead after returning from Accra, where she had travelled ahead of her wedding ceremony.

A female teacher identified as Pearl Lulu has reportedly died in Hohoe, Volta Region, on Friday afternoon.

According to reports, Pearl had travelled to Accra to braid her hair ahead of a marriage ceremony scheduled for Saturday, July 6, 2019.

Reports further indicate that while returning to Hohoe from Accra, she began shouting in the vehicle and appeared to be calling for an unknown person to allow her to get married. Witnesses reportedly said she later became quiet and fell into a deep sleep.

She was later confirmed dead upon arrival in Hohoe.

Pearl Lulu reportedly completed St. Teresa’s College of Education in 2016 and had been teaching for three years.
