The Ghana NationalAssociation of Teachers (GNAT) has called for an immediate dissolution of the GNAT Provident Fund Board with a call for an interim board to take over affairs until a new Board is being reconstituted.
The GNAT in its decision on its Tier 3 Fund in a memo to its members indicated that any meeting organised by its National Council is illegal, null and void and of no effect.

”Any meeting of any sort authorized by the National Council of GNAT is therefore illegal, null and void and of no effect” The memo indicated.
Reversal of Fund Name
The GNAT Secretariate called for an immediate reversal of the Teachers Provident Fund (TPF) to its original name, GNAT Provident Fund (GPF).
