The Ghana Education Service (GES) is set to launch the Ghana Education Service Management Information System (GESMIS) on Thursday, December 19, 2024. This transformative digital platform is designed to streamline and modernize education management processes in Ghana.

Announcing the launch on social media, Dr. Eric Nkansah, Director-General of GES, highlighted the theme of the event as: “Transforming education management through data and digitisation.”

“Join us to officially launch the Ghana Education Service Management Information System (GESMIS) tomorrow. Transforming education management through data and digitisation,” Dr. Nkansah stated.


What is GESMIS?

GESMIS is an online platform developed to centralize and digitize key administrative functions within the Ghana Education Service. It aims to enhance the efficiency, transparency, and accessibility of teacher records, school data, and various other processes.
