GES makes provision for JHS Teachers on UCC’s 3-Sem Sandwich Program

The Ghana Education Service (GES) has instructed all district Education Directorate to make provisions for all Junior High School (JHS) teachers who shall be leaving for their 3-semester Sandwich Program organized by the University of Cape Coast (UCC).

The GES in a letter dated April 15, 2021 to all Regional Directors of Education indicated that the Insitute of Education, University of Cape Coast,has drawn it’s attention to the fact that some teachers at the JHS who are part of it’s special Program for Diploma Teachers to be upgraded to their degree are expected to go for their face-to-face session from April 19 to May 1, 2021.

 

The GES thereby instructed all District Directors to supervise headteachers of the affected schools to put in the best arrangements so that Academic work will not be disrupted.
