The Nursing and Midwifery Council of Ghana releases a detailed list of accredited nursing and midwifery training colleges in the Central Region to guide students and strengthen healthcare education standards.

The Nursing and Midwifery Council (N&MC) of Ghana has published a verified list of accredited nursing and midwifery training institutions in the Central Region, reinforcing its commitment to upholding quality healthcare education nationwide.

The list includes both state and private institutions offering diploma and degree programmes in Registered General Nursing (RGN), Registered Midwifery (RM), Public Health Nursing (PHN), and more.

Prominent among the institutions is the University of Cape Coast, which offers degree-level training in RGN, RM, and Registered Mental Nursing (RMN). Other state institutions such as the Cape Coast Nursing and Midwifery Training College, Twifo Praso, and Dunkwa-on-Offin colleges provide multi-disciplinary diploma programmes.

Private institutions like KAAF University College, Central College of Science and Technology, and Godfrey Memorial Midwifery Training School are also accredited, offering a mix of degree and diploma-level qualifications.

This accreditation list serves as a vital guide for students, parents, and employers in identifying legitimate, high-standard training centres in the region.
