West Africa Senior High School outclassed Nifa SHS and Wa SHS with 65 points at the CNC Auditorium to qualify for the one-eighth stage of the 2025 National Science and Maths Quiz.

The final contest for Day Two of the #NSMQ2025 Preliminary Stage took place at the CNC Auditorium, featuring West Africa SHS, Nifa SHS, and Wa SHS. The atmosphere was electric as students, teachers, and supporters cheered their teams on in what turned out to be an exciting intellectual battle.

Round One: A Tight Opening

The contest opened with a closely fought Round One. West Africa SHS started strong, earning 19 points, while Wa SHS and Nifa SHS followed with 17 points and 16 points respectively. All three schools showed composure and speed during the @TrusturAI Speed Race, setting the tone for an engaging contest.

Round Two: West Africa Takes the Lead

Momentum shifted in Round Two as West Africa SHS pulled away with 35 points, while Nifa SHS scored 20 points and Wa SHS managed 15 points. The round, sponsored by @TrusturAI, highlighted West Africa SHS’s precision in calculation and quick responses.

Round Three: The @PruLifeGh Problem of the Day

The highly anticipated Problem of the Day, sponsored by @PruLifeGh, tested conceptual understanding and teamwork. The results were as follows:

West Africa SHS: 6/10
Nifa SHS: 4/10
Wa SHS: 2/10

Although none of the schools achieved a perfect score of 10/10 to win the GH₵2,000 Prudential Life Insurance NSMQ Star, West Africa SHS’s solid performance widened their lead significantly.At the end of this round, West Africa SHS stood firm in control of the contest.

Round Four: The Final Showdown

Round Four, proudly sponsored by @JupayOfficial, tested the contestants’ speed, logic, and critical thinking. West Africa SHS maintained their composure, stretching their score to 65 points.
