The 2025 NSMQ Preliminary Stage fixtures have been released, featuring 120 schools in 49 contests across five days, beginning October 20, 2025.


 

Primetime Ghana Limited, organisers of the National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ), in partnership with the Ghana Education Service (GES) and GOIL, has officially unveiled the fixtures for the 2025 Preliminary Stage of the national championship. The announcement was made in Accra on Sunday, marking the beginning of preparations for another season of science and mathematics brilliance among Ghana’s top Senior High Schools. The preliminary stage will feature 49 contests involving over 120 schools across the country. The contests will run from Monday, October 20 to Friday, October 24, 2025, across regional centres. Only winners from each contest will qualify for the One-eighth Stage, joining the seeded schools from the 2024 championship.

  2. Wovenu SHTS vs KNUST SHS vs Afia Kobi Ampem Girls SHS
