Award-winning Ghana Education Blogger and founder of EducationGhana.org, Ellis Ferdinand has said that the CCP Curriculum for JHS not part of the New SHS Curriculum

Speaking on the CCP Curriculum for Basic 7 to Basic 10 learners, he indicated, that the National Council of Curriculum and Assessment (NaCCA) shall review the CCP Curriculum to end at the JHS 3 instead of the initial SHS 1.

He added, that Basic Education does not include the Senior High Schools since the Pre-tertiary Education bill which was being pushed for approval by parliament during the tenure of Dr Mathew Opoku Prempeh as Minister for Education was not approved hence the SHS can not be considered as part of the Basic Education level but shall be maintained as the Second Cycle Education level.
