Apam Senior High School (SHS) has claimed victory in the 2025 Independence Day Quiz Competition, surpassing Achiase SHS, Damongo SHS, and Kintampo SHS in a thrilling contest of knowledge.

 

Apam SHS Takes the Title at Independence Day Quiz Competition

In an impressive demonstration of academic prowess, Apam Senior High School (SHS) secured the top spot at the 2025 Independence Day Quiz Competition, which took place on Sunday, March 2, 2025, at the GTV studios.

This highly competitive national event featured four formidable schools—Apam SHS, Achiase SHS, Damongo SHS, and Kintampo SHS—each vying for the coveted title.

Final Standings and Scores

Following a rigorous intellectual battle, Apam SHS emerged as champions with a remarkable score of 27 points. The final standings were as follows: Apam SHS: 🏆 27 points Achiase SHS: 19 points Kintampo SHS: 14 points Damongo SHS: 6 points

 

Prizes and Awards

The Ghana Education Service (GES), in partnership with the National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE), presented commendable prizes to all participants.

Apam SHS: 🏆 Trophy from GES, a plaque from NCCE, and a cash prize of GH¢5,000.00.

Achiase SHS: 🥈 Plaque from NCCE and GH¢4,000.00.

Kintampo SHS: 🥉 Plaque from NCCE and GH¢3,500.00.

Damongo SHS: 🏅 Plaque from NCCE and GH¢3,000.00.
