70,000 BIC Crystal pens to be distributed to 2021 BECE Candidates
EducationGhana, October 14, BECE 2021: BIC, a world leader in stationery has donated 70,000 BIC Crystal pens to the Ghana Education Service (GES) on October 12, 2021, to support final year students ahead of the 2021 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) which will start on November15th.
Speaking at a short ceremony to present the pens, Mr George Nkonsah, Business Development Manager for the Ghana-Cameroon cluster at BIC indicated “We are proud and delighted to partner with industry leaders such as the Ghana Education Service to support the education field in the country. At BIC, we are committed to improving lives through education, and this is one of the many initiatives that we are proud of and wish to continue to build on in the region”
Expressing his appreciation on behalf of Management of GES, Professor Kwasi Opoku Amankwa, Director General of the Ghana Education Service said GES was very grateful to BIC for the donation and its commitment to support the education sector in Ghana.
“It is refreshing to work with brands that value the importance of education and work to improve communities they operate in. We look forward to further build on this partnership through impactful initiatives in the future.” He added.
