The central government is putting measures in place to recruit some 25,000 NABCo trainees under the 3-year contract who are set to end their service in October this year into the Ghana Education Service (GES), President Akufo-Addo disclosed Tuesday at Bono Region.
Akufo-Addo who disclosed this in an interview with Radio Bar 93.5 FM monitored by EducationWeb.com.gh said new personnel after those preparing to end their service in October will be recruited into various modules of NABCO.

According to him, trainees of the various Nation Builders Corps modules will be given permanent employment by the government saying 25,000 NABCO personnel will be considered for employment in the education sector.
“Educate Ghana will employ 25,000 personnel, Digital Ghana will take 15,000, Enterprise Ghana will employ 3,500 and Health Ghana will absorb 2,900 personnel among the rest,” His Excellency Akufo-Addo told the radio station.
The NABCO trainees as they end their NABCO service in the next few months have been encouraged by the President to take every process they are going through very seriously to enable them to qualify for recruitment into service.

As part of the process for trainees to be employed on July 11, 2021, the Management of the Nation Builders Corps deployed Regional Monitoring Teams (RMTs) to monitor trainees under the Educate Ghana programme nationwide.
