In an important development, the National Service Authority (NSA) has announced the deployment of 13,700 trained teachers to various educational institutions across Ghana for the 2025/2026 National Service. This is the first batch of teachers selected from accredited Teacher Training Colleges to begin their national service in the country’s educational institutions.

Deployment Overview: These 13,700 teachers are set to fill crucial teaching positions across various schools in Ghana, assisting in the country’s ongoing educational development efforts. This deployment is in line with the NSA’s commitment to addressing staffing shortages in educational institutions.
- Service Start Date: The service period for these teachers officially begins on April 2, 2025. However, service personnel must complete a regional validation process between March 26, 2025 and April 11, 2025 at their designated NSA regional centers.
- Placement and Appointment Letters: All newly deployed teachers are required to check their placements on the NSA’s official website. They must also print their appointment letters and obtain endorsement from their designated user agencies before starting their national service.

Important Details for Service Personnel:
- Age and Eligibility: As per the National Service Act (1119, 2024), all service personnel must be at least 18 years old and have completed training at an accredited Teacher Training College. Additionally, personnel are required to follow the guidelines set out by the NSA for service commencement
