A Deputy Education Minister, Dr Yaw Osei Adutwum has said that the New Patriotic Party(NPP)Government introduced a National Assessment Framework to determine Best Performance of Students in the Pre-Tertiary Education Level.
Dr Adutwum made this revelation on TV 3, a Media General Television station in Accra on Saturday, August 29,2020, while defending the achievements of the NPP in Education under the Akuffo Addo administration where he serves as a deputy minister of education.

According to the Deputy Education Minister, the National Assessment Framework is meant to assess students in Basic 2,4,6 and JHS 2.
He said this assessment shall help determine the qual;ity of the Standard based Curriculum as well as the Common Core Program.

He indicated, that the national assessment shall be a standard to evaluate practice and pedagogies of teaching.
