Ghana’s Education Blogger and founder of Education Ghana Media Network, Ellis Ferdinand has been nominated for the 2019 West African Citizens Awards.
Ellis Ferdinand has been nominate to compete against other West Africans at the Most Promising Blogger of the year category.
Famous Bloggers in that category include Nigerian most popular celebrity Blogger Linda Ikeji, Ghanaian Celebrity blogger Ameyaw Kissi Debrah among others.
Ellis Ferdinand is expected to compete with celebrity bloggers, as the only Education Blogger in that category to be able to win the ultimate prize.
Ellis Ferdinand was adjudged Blogger of the year at the 2018 National Students Award,and his blog EducationGhnana.net won Best Media Promoting Education at the 2017 and 2018 Education Community Awards.
His blog has been nominated for the 2019 Education Community Awards to be held on August 31 in Accra,Ghana.
This year’s West African Citizen Awards is being organized on the theme “Acknowledgement of Merit”.
Other nominees from other West African Counties include:Abdul Raheem Awaafo,Joseph Ajado,Ato Kwamina Dadzie,Ayomide Adeagbo , Boluwatife Lawal, Bra Perucci , Chris – Vincent Agyapong.
The rest include; Jide Ogunsanya, Mac Jordan, Makinde Azeez ,Naa Ovoo Kumodzi ,Nana Kofi Acquah ,Noble Igwe,Elorm Beenie,Onabanjo Toheeb Ovie,Reindorf Amankwah and Tony Gists.
The nomination list for the 2019 West African Citizen Award was released on the 20th of August 2019 .
Their will be an online voting process which is schedule to commence on September 10. 2019 – October 3, 2019. at www.wafricaward.com
