As excitement reaches fever pitch, over 100 schools from across the country are gearing up for a thrilling intellectual contest. The competition promises intense rivalry and national pride, with the best schools battling for the highly coveted NSMQ trophy.

Among the fierce competition, 27 top-performing schools have already secured their spots in the one-eighth stage of the national championship, solidifying their place as front-runners in this high-stakes academic challenge. These 27 schools are:

  • Launch & Balloting: The 2024 NSMQ will officially launch on October 1, 2024, at the New GNAT Hall in Accra, with balloting to determine matchups for the preliminary stage. Proceedings will begin at 3 p.m.
  • Preliminary Rounds: From October 14 to October 17, schools will battle it out in the preliminary rounds for a chance to advance further in the competition.
  • Quarter-Finals & Semi-Finals: Successful schools from the one-eighth stage will move on to the quarter-finals and semi-finals, held at the SGS Auditorium.
  • Grand Finale: The much-anticipated final will take place at the New Education Centre (NEC), where three schools will compete for the ultimate title.
