In a recent statement, the university dismissed the information as false and misleading.

“We categorically state that there is no requirement for students in the Department of Computer Science to purchase specific Apple devices for their programmes of study,” UG clarified in its statement.

Prospective students, parents, and guardians have been urged to disregard this misinformation. The university emphasized its commitment to inclusivity and technological accessibility, ensuring that students are not disadvantaged based on the type of tools or devices they use.
