The team, comprising Mr. Peter Emeka Ike, Mr. Edwin Entsiey, Mr. Prince Ascord, and Mr. Jonathan Sowah, triumphed through three rigorous rounds—quarterfinals, semifinals, and the grand finale.
In the quarterfinals, UGBS dominated Heritage Christian University College with 65 points. Their momentum continued as they outperformed Pentecost University in the semifinals. The grand finale saw an intense showdown between UGBS, Central University, and Heritage Christian University College, with UGBS emerging victorious with 67.67 points, marking their third straight zonal championship.
The team attributes its success to the guidance of their dedicated trainers—Mr. Dan Owusu Amponsah, Mr. Michael Mensah, Mr. Emmanuel Agyei, and Mr. Caleb Okyere.
