University of Education, Winneba: First Session of 29th Congregation Announced

The University of Education, Winneba (UEW), has officially announced the First Session of its 29th Congregation, set to take place from Tuesday, December 17, 2024, to Saturday, December 21, 2024, at the Jophus Anamuah-Mensah Conference Centre, North Campus, Winneba.

The event will celebrate the achievements of Regular and Sandwich students across various faculties and schools, awarding degrees, diplomas, and certificates.

Registration Details

  • Registration Period: Opens Friday, November 29, 2024, and closes Friday, December 14, 2024, at NOON.
  • Registration Portal: UEW Graduation Registration.
  • Only registered graduands will be presented at the ceremony.

Key Notes for Graduands

  1. Academic Gown Collection: Collect gowns at the Faculty of Social Sciences Education Building, North Campus, Winneba.
  2. Dress Code: Formal attire is mandatory (tie and shirt for gentlemen, with a jacket preferred). Improper dressing will disqualify a graduand from being presented.
  3. Arrival Time: Graduands must arrive and be seated by 8:30 am on their designated day in appropriate academic dress.
  4. Photography: Only accredited photographers will cover the event. Graduates may purchase photographs.
  5. Certificate Collection: Present Clearance Chits, Student ID Cards, or National Photo Identification Cards to collect certificates.
  6. Rehearsals: Scheduled for 5:00 pm on the day preceding each session.
