The University of Cape Coast (UCC) invites first-degree holders to apply for its 2025/2026 Graduate Entry MB ChB programme beginning February 2026. Application deadline: 15th August 2025.
Applications Now Open for Graduate Entry MB ChB Programme
The University of Cape Coast (UCC) has officially opened applications for its Graduate Entry Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MB ChB) programme for the 2025/2026 academic year. This full-time residential programme will commence in February 2026 and is tailored for qualified holders of first degrees in science-related fields.
How to Apply
Interested applicants can purchase E-Vouchers at GH¢220.00 from any of the following sales centres nationwide:
- UCC Cashier’s Office & Accra Office (Tesano)
- Ghana Post Offices (Regional & District)
- All network branches of GCB, ADB, GT Bank, Zenith Bank, Republic Bank, Cal Bank, CBG, ARB Apex Bank, Prudential Bank, Fidelity Bank, NIB, and OmniBSIC.
International applicants should apply online via apply.ucc.edu.gh and select “apply as international student.”

Basic Entry Requirements
To qualify:
- Applicants must hold a BSc degree in a science-related field with at least a Second Class Lower Division from a recognized institution.
- Candidates must pass an entrance exam scheduled for Monday, 15th September 2025, followed by interviews from 16th to 17th September 2025.
Optional Preparatory Classes
Applicants may join preparatory classes from 1st to 12th September 2025 at the College of Health and Allied Sciences Auditorium.
- Cost for full prep + exam + daily lunch: GH¢1,250.00
- Exam-only fee: GH¢400.00
Important Notes
- The MB ChB programme is strictly fee-paying.
- Applicants must complete the online form at apply.ucc.edu.gh
- No hard copies are to be submitted.
- Upload all relevant documents online before submitting the application.
- Applicants are advised to keep a printed copy of their completed online form for their records.
