The portal for the recruitment of graduates from Universities has been opened by the Ghana Education Service(GES).In fulfillment of the Minister of Education, Dr. Mathew Opoku Prempeh’s pledge.
The opening of the portal by the GESl is in fulfillment of the Minister of Education, Dr. Mathew Opoku Prempeh’s earlier promise on the recruitment of graduate teachers into the Public Pre-Tertiary Institutions.
The Minister of Education, Dr. Mathew Opoku Prempeh (NAPO) has announced the date for the opening of the portal for the recruitment of graduate teachers into the country’s Pre-Tertiary Schools.
According to NAPO, the portal for the recruitment of graduate teachers shall be opened on Monday, November 2, 2020, by the GES.
He was speaking at the Nation Builders Update held on Wednesday, October 29, 2020 at the premises of the Academy of Arts and Sciences in Accra.

2017/2018 and 2019/20 Graduate Recruitment
According to him, the Government has recruited 14,170 graduates from the Colleges of Education to occupy vacant classrooms from 2017 to 2018 and 14,500 from 2018 to 2019 as well as 16,500 from 2019 to 2020 respectively.
Portal for GES Graduate Recruitment openedWith regards to graduate employment, he said that the government has recruited 9,100 graduates from 2017 to 2018 during the Limited Recruitment Exercise.
In addition, he said the government has recruited 8,872 graduates from 2018 to 2019 to fill the double-track vacancies at the Senior High Schools.
