In another electrifying semifinal contest of the 2025 National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ), St. Augustine’s College rose to victory with a total of 46 points, outsmarting Pope John SHS & Minor Seminary who finished with 38 points, and Amaniampong SHS who ended with 23 points.The contest, held at the Primetime Auditorium, was filled with tension and excitement as each round kept spectators on edge.Early Lead by Pope John SHS
The competition began with Pope John SHS & Min. Sem. taking an early lead in the first two rounds, scoring 13 and 15 points respectively, ahead of St. Augustine’s College and Amaniampong SHS. Round 3 saw both Pope John SHS & Min. Sem. and St. Augustine’s College deliver flawless performances in the Problem of the Day, each scoring 10 out of 10. By the end of Round 4, St. Augustine’s College had overturned the deficit, leading with 37 points, followed closely by Pope John SHS & Min.
