Serwaa Nyarko Girls’ SHS advanced to the one-eighth stage of the NSMQ 2025 after a tense contest at Auditorium 900 that ended in a tie with Northern School of Business, following Attafuah SHTS’s disqualification for cheating in Round Four.

In one of the most controversial contests of the 2025 National Science and Maths Quiz, Serwaa Nyarko Girls’ Senior High School qualified for the one-eighth stage after breaking a 34–34 tie with Northern School of Business (NOBISCO), following the disqualification of Attafuah Senior High Technical School for cheating during Round Four.

The incident, which unfolded inside Auditorium 900, stunned the audience as quiz officials invoked competition rules to remove Attafuah SHTS from the contest.
