The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has said that when voted into power in December 2020, it shall provide Free sanitary pads to schoolgirls below the age of 20.
The NDC made this revelation during its manifesto launch dubbed ‘The People Manifesto’ at the University of Professional Studies in Accra on Monday, September 7, 2020.

Speaking at the event, the Vice Presidential candidate of the party, Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang said it was very unfortunate to see young girls finding it difficult to afford sanitary pads while in school.
‘People Thinking Manifesto’
The General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Johnson Asiedu Nketia has said that the 2020 Manifesto of the NDC is a ‘People Thinking Manifesto’.
The General Secretary made this revelation at the launch of the NDC manifesto at the University of Professional Studies in Accra on Monday, September 7, 2020.

Johnson Nketia said the manifesto was taken from the perspectives of the Ghanaian populace and not that of some few elites and technocrats.
