Ghana’s higher education sector has earned major international recognition as Professor Samuel Yaw Akomea (PhD) of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi, has been named Best Professor in the 2025–2 round of the X-Culture International Collaboration Project.The award places Prof. Akomea at the very top of a global academic field, ranking first among 198 professors worldwide who supervised student teams during the semester.Beating the World’s Best
