Teachers in the Greater Accra Region have criticized the decision of the Ghana Eduction Service (GES) to pay GHC2.50p per child for printing fees.
The teachers said the GES earlier released a statement which said it shall give a base grant of GHC3.50p per child for the conduct of their Term 3 exams.
Describing the situation as unfortunate, the teachers said the supposed GHC3.50 peer child was even not enough to print questions.
Meanwhile Schools in the Northern Region are expected to start their terminal exams on Monday July 22,2019 due to the directive from the GES,directing all printing fees to be refunded.
Reports also suggests, some districts across the country have lesser than what districts in the Greater Accra Region had,a calculation which placed GH1.50P per child.
