The Ghana Education Service (GES) has informed teachers who were being transferred or released and teach at the Junior High Schools (JHS) to return to their respective Schools to complete the 2019/20 Academic year on October 5, 2020.
An information by the Amansie West District Education Directorate to teachers from the district who were being transferred or released from the District confirms the report.
According to Mr John K. Ranson the Deputy Director, Human Resource Management Division of the above-mentioned district Education directorate, he has been directed by the Amansie West District Education Director to serve the notice to teachers who have been processed for transfer/release out of this District.

According to him, they are to report for duty to complete the 2019/2020 academic year before leaving for their new Districts.
”I have been directed by the Amansie West District Education Director to serve this notice to teachers who have been processed for transfer/release out of this District that they are to report for duty to complete the 2019/2020 academic year before leaving for their new Districts.” He said.
”Teachers are to note that next Academic Year starts in January, 2021.”
”Headteachers are hereby tasked to check the attendances of such teachers in their respective schools and report accordingly to the District Director through the Assistant Director (Supervision & Monitoring).” He added.

”Any teacher who fails to report for duty will not earn a salary for the period of absence from work.” He emphasized.
