Kona D/A 1 JHS claims victory in a fiercely contested Leychar Foundation Inter-School competition, winning by just 0.5 points over Tano Odumasi Methodist JHS. Excitement builds as the Grand Finale approaches on October 4th. Stay tuned for an epic showdown
The Zone Two contest of the Leychar Foundation Inter-School competition was held successfully yesterday, featuring four participating schools: Tano Odumasi Methodist JHS, Kona D/A 1 JHS, Kona D/A 2 JHS, and Kona Zongo D/A JHS. The competition was intensely fought, with all schools displaying impressive skills and determination.
At the conclusion of the contest, Kona D/A 1 JHS emerged as the winner, amassing a total score of 32.5 points. They narrowly edged out Tano Odumasi Methodist JHS, which came in second place with 32 points. Kona D/A 2 JHS and Kona Zongo D/A JHS followed with 24 points and 17 points, respectively.
The Leychar Foundation rewarded the winning school, Kona D/A 1 JHS, with GH₵500.00 to acknowledge their hard work and victory. The remaining three schools each received GH₵200.00 as a token of appreciation and to encourage both teachers and students to continue striving for excellence.
The Grand Finale of the Leychar Foundation Inter-School Contest is scheduled for Friday, 4th October. Anticipation is building, and all eyes will be on the finalists as they compete for ultimate glory.
