JUST IN: PPEs distributed to all Schools as JHS 2,SHS2 Students resume October 5 – GES

The Ghana Education Service (GES) has assured parents, teachers and all stakeholders of a successful implementation of all COVID-19 Protocols as Form 2  Junior High School (JHS ) and Senior High school (SHS) students resume Monday, October 5, 2020.

The purpose of the resumption is to complete their Third Term and Second Semester of their Academic Years respectively.

In a statement issued by the Head of Public Relations of the Gana Education Service, Cassandra Twum Ampofo on October 2, 2020, the GES said it wishes to assure students, parents, teachers and the general public, that all the necessary measures have been put in place to ensure their safety while in School.

Fumigation

The GES further indicated that all schools have been fumigated and disinfected, as well as been provided with Personal Protective Equipment (PPEs).

The GES also urged school authorities, staff and students to acknowledge that COVID-19 still exists and should therefore adhere strictly to all guidelines issued to the schools.

Cooperation

The4 GES also urged parents or guardians and the general public to continue to sup[port , cooperate and collaborate with the Educational Authorities to ensure a successful academic work in all the Schools.
