-The Ghana National Asociation of Teachers (GNAT) has supported the fight against the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
The Association has provided the Ghana Health Service (GHS) with a refurbished Conference Hall to be used for all meetings9,2020 and conferences and other necessary sittings of the GHS.

The GNAT, in a letter dated April 9,2020 to the Ghana Health Service, the General Secretary of GNAT,Thomas Musah indicated,the aGHS was free to use the Associations’s refurbished 100 -seater Bediako Hallat the GNAT Headquarters in Accra.
The refurbished Hall,which cost GHC8000 a day ,including the use of electronic gadgets as well as other installations and fittings has been given to the GHS for free.
The leadesrhip of the Association has absorbed the total cost of the use of the Hall for the period,SundayMarch 29,ton Friday, April 3,2020, and subsequently Wednesday,April 8,2020 ,amounting to GHC56,000 as of Thursday,April 9,2020.

In addition,the leadership has decided to release forty-two (42) rooms of their refurbished Hostel ,one of which costs GHC150 per day,for free to the state,effective,Monday,30th March, 2020 to accommodate the frontline officers of the state.
