The National President of the largest teacher union in Ghana ,the Ghana National Association of Teachers (GNAT) has been tasked by the National Executives to write a reconciliatory message to their members.
National President Phillipa Larsen is expected to write the reconciliatory message because some comments from her and the General Secretary infuriated the rank and file of the Association.

The message is first of all expected to calm down nerves of teachers across the country.
This decision was arrived at by the National Executives in a meeting held on September 17,2019 after some Six regions declared strike to join their sister union,the National Association of Graduate Teachers (NAGRAT) at the beginning of the 2019/20 Academic year.
All the ten (10) issues carried on behalf of the members in the Press Release which triggered the strike action were all look into by the National Executives where some information and decisions were taken.
