The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has indicated that candidates who took part in the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) as well as the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) can appeal to the Council if they are not satisfied with their results.
The Head of Test Administration Division of WAEC, Mr George K. Ohene Mantey in an interview, explained that the Council has a system in place for any candidate who is not satisfied with his/her results to appeal 60 days after the release of the results.

“Every candidate has the right to appeal if for some reason is not satisfied with the results, that is available for any candidate,” he told host Winifred.
He added that candidates who for some reason are not satisfied with their WAEC result can appeal to WAEC 60 days after the release of results for a review.
