The Ghana National Association of Teachers (GNAT) n collaboration with the University of Cape Coast (UCC) is organising a Seminar on the switching of teachers from the Basic level to teaching at the Senior High level at the pre-tertiary education.

The Seminar, whose date is yet to be communicated is an initiative of the Ashanti Regional Secreatarite of GNAT to educate their members on the possibility of teaching at the Senior high level as Basic School teachers.

Target Areas of the Seminar

The Seminar is targeting the following areas;

1. A Switch for Basic School Teachers to Teach at the SHS
2. A Switch to Broaden Teaching Areas
3. A switch for vertical career progression in the GES
