KWAPONG, AHAFO REGION — A fire outbreak has been reported at the Kwapong Nursing Training College, causing widespread alarm among students and staff on campus.
The unexpected incident occurred earlier today, disrupting the normally calm atmosphere of the institution. Eyewitnesses reported seeing thick smoke rising from one of the campus buildings as students rushed to safety while others tried to salvage their belongings.
Emergency services have been alerted and are currently on-site, working to contain the flames and prevent the fire from spreading to nearby facilities. The cause of the fire remains unclear, but authorities have begun investigations to determine what triggered the incident.
Campus security personnel and local residents have joined the rescue efforts as fire officers attempt to bring the situation under control.
So far, no casualties have been reported, but several students are said to be in shock following the sudden flare-up. The college management has assured that measures are being taken to ensure the safety of all students and staff while the extent of property damage is being assessed.
