Ferdinand EducationGhana | January 25 | EN Analytics Releases 2025 Top 100 SHS Rankings for NSMQ

EN Analytics has published its 2025 Top 100 Senior High School rankings for the National Science and Maths Quiz, confirming Ghana’s most authoritative benchmark for secondary school academic excellence.

EN Analytics Confirms Authority in SHS Academic Rankings

EN Analytics has officially released its 2025 Top 100 Senior High School (SHS) Rankings for the National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ), reinforcing the ranking’s reputation as Ghana’s most credible and authoritative reference for assessing academic excellence at the secondary school level.

The 2025 edition is based on detailed performance data from 260 Senior High Schools across all 16 regions of Ghana, offering a truly national perspective on science and mathematics education outcomes.

Over the years, the EN Analytics NSMQ rankings have earned the trust of students, parents, teachers, school administrators, and education stakeholders. They are widely used as a guide for Senior High School selection and institutional benchmarking.

Methodology and Assessment Criteria

EN Analytics applies a four-part assessment framework to determine a school’s final ranking position:

  • The final stage was reached at the national level of the current NSMQ competition year
  • The school’s placement in its final national contest
  • The Ghana Education Service (GES) category of the school
  • The school’s historical NSMQ performance from 2013 to 2024

According to EN Analytics, this approach ensures consistency, fairness, and a long-term evaluation of performance rather than dependence on a single year’s result.

NSMQ and Academic Excellence in Ghana

The National Science and Maths Quiz remains one of Ghana’s most respected academic platforms. Beyond content mastery in mathematics and science, the competition assesses critical thinking, teamwork, innovation, and the ability to solve complex problems under pressure. As a result, NSMQ performance continues to serve as a strong national indicator of institutional academic strength.
