The Ministry of Education says it has awarded a contract to Zoomlion Ghana Limited to carry out a fumigation exercise of all schools across the country.
This move forms part of the government’s efforts to curb the spread of COVID–19 in the country.
In a letter signed by the Director-General of Ghana Education Service, Professor Kwasi Opoku – Amankwa entreated Regional Directors to direct all Heads of Schools in their respective regions to cooperate fully with Zoomlion Ghana Limited by opening up the schools to them.

He further encouraged all heads of the schools to closely monitor the fumigation exercise and ensure a good work done at the end of the exercise.
The fumigation exercise is expected to commence on Tuesday April 14th, 2020 across the country.
