Cambridge International Scrutinized New Standard Based Curriculum to attain Int’l Standard – GES Boss

Cambridge International,a United Kingdom Assessment company has assessed the Newly introduced standard Based Curriculum for Basic Schools.

The Director General of the Ghana Education Service ,Prof. Kwesi Opoku Amankwa has said in an intervioew on Neat Fm in Accra on Wednesday,August 21,2019.

Responding to questions in relation to the quality of the New Standard based curriculum, the GES Boss

said the curriculum was assessd by the Assessmnent Company in the United Kingdom to ensure the curtriculum meets International Standard.

He further indicaed, the Mathematics and English taught in Ghanaian Schools for instamnce must be up to

the international standard since such subjects are taught in almost every country.

However,the GEs Director General said the implementation is very vital in the recognition of the quality of the curriculum.

He called on the teachers to put in their very best for a successful implementation of the New Standard Based Curriculum.
