The 2022 National est Teacher, Stella Gyimah participated in the 74th edition of the annual New Year School and Conference organised by the University of Ghana, Legon in Accra.

Stella indicated the conference participants did not have any connection with what she does at the beginning due to the continued existence of her thoughts in the classroom, the teacher, the learner and the ordinary child at the disadvantaged.

‘The discussions didn’t have any connection with what I do at the beginning. As my mind has always been in the classroom, the teacher, the learner and the ordinary child at the disadvantaged.” She said.

The deliberations pointed to the need to promote AfCFTA collectively whether in industry, the private sector, academia or government. The new year of school indeed presents a bridge for open discourse.
