A 2020 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) Candidate has questioned the quality and quantity of food being served during the ongoing government’s ‘Hot Meal’ support to the candidates.
According to a video circulating on social media, one of the candidates asked if the government (President) shall be willing to provide his children with the alleged low quality and quality of food being served by the caterers.

The student said though some of her colleagues might have monies for Feeding, majority of them had been provided monies by their parents, of which the later stopped due to the decision of the government to provide good quality food for the candidates.
The student added the quantity of food given was questionable.
She said even Ghc50p could provide a higher quantity than what they have been given.

She is a final year Junior High school student at the Nyankpala District Assembly school in the Tolon District of the North Region
