Widow of Teacher murdered over Snails received GHC18,000 Insurance Claim from GES-SIC Policy

The widow of the late Mr. George Somuah Bosompem received a GHC18,000 Insurance Claim from the GES-SIC Life Group Insurance Policy.

The Widow received a cheque of GHC18,000 from the SIC LIife Insurance Compny on Monday,June 2,2019 during the Launch of the Policy in Accra.

The Ghc18,000 reeived is as a rsult of of the late Mr. George Somuah Bosompem’s GHC10.00 Contribution to the Policy in jUNE 2018.

He was the Headmaster of Salvation Army Basic School at Asiakwa in the Eastern Region.

The late George Somuah Bosempem was reportedly murdered  by a gang of ‘wee smokers.

 

About the Policy

The GES-SIC Policy is meant for all teaching and non-teaching staff of the Ghana Education Service.

Any contributor who die or suffer a permanent disability would be given a cover of up to ¢18,000 depending on the medical report.

Also,those who suffer illness such as cancer, stroke, major organ transplant and kidney failure would be given a cover of up ¢9,000.

In addtion, a critical illness that renders a member totally and permanently disabled receives a full pay-out of ¢18,000.

This will attract a monthly premium of ¢10 per month for a member

and there is also a cashback of 10% if no claim is made within three years and a monthly premium.
