The University of Cape Coast has opened applications for its 2025/2026 Master of Education Sandwich Programmes (Cohort 3). Here are the programmes, study centres, entry requirements, and deadlines.
UCC Announces 2025/2026 M.Ed Sandwich Admissions
The University of Cape Coast (UCC), through its Institute of Education (IoE) under the College of Education Studies, has officially opened applications for admission into its Master of Education (M.Ed) Sandwich Programmes for the 2025/2026 academic year (Cohort 3).
The programmes are delivered in an out-of-campus sandwich format. They are designed for practising educators and education professionals seeking postgraduate training to strengthen their professional competence and leadership capacity.
Application Deadline
According to the notice, the deadline for submission of applications is June 31, 2026. Prospective applicants are advised to complete all processes early to avoid challenges associated with late applications.
M.Ed Programmes on Offer Applicants may apply for any of the following Master of Education specialisations:
M.Ed Science Education
M.Ed Mathematics Education
M.Ed Information and Communication Technology
M.Ed Arts Education
M.Ed Accounting Education
M.Ed Management Education
M.Ed Economics Education
M.Ed Social Studies
M.Ed Guidance and Counselling
M.Ed Measurement and Evaluation
M.Ed Educational Psychology
M.Ed Early Childhood
M.Ed Home Economics
M.Ed Sociology of Education Approved Study Centres
The sandwich programmes will be run at the following accredited study centres:
1. Tamale College of Education – Tamale 2. Christ the Teacher College of Education – Kumasi 3. Kibi College of Education – Kibi 4. Wise Educational Complex – Sunyani Each center runs specific program options as approved by the University.

Application Mode and Cohorts
Colleges of Education applicants are to apply through concessional admission. Sandwich mode applicants (4, 3, and 5 semester streams) should apply through the UCC student portal or the alumni portal at the official UCC platform.
Availability of cohorts:
3-Semester Cohort 7: Already available on the students’ portal 3-Semester Cohort 8: Available from 23 February 2026 5-Semester (2024 Year): Available from 23 February 2026
Sale of E-Vouchers
Applicants from institutions outside UCC are required to purchase e-vouchers at GH₵320, which enable online application.
E-vouchers are available via: MoMo (Dial 77240#) Ghana Post Office University of Cape Coast Cash Office (Accra) GCB Bank Agricultural Development Bank Consolidated Bank Ghana Republic Bank Prudential Bank Zenith Bank Entry Requirement Applicants must have:
A good first degree (at least Third Class) in a relevant field from a recognised tertiary institution.
