EducationGhana, June 9, GTEC: Tertiary Institutions in the country to move their congregation/graduation ceremonies for the year 2021 online in view of the covid-19 pandemic that has taken over the Globe since 2020.
This was announced by the Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC) in a communique issued by its Director-General, Dr. Mohammed Salifu.

According to the Director-General, until further notice, all graduation ceremonies should be observed online. He added, that any other gathering of such purpose should strictly adhere to the covid-19 restrictions being outlined by the state.

Blended Learning
Dr. Salifu said institutions should adhere to restrictions relating to the number of students to be available for each lecture and also utilize blended learning and other online means of learning in order to minimize the numbers at each gathering.
