The management of the National Service Scheme (NSS) has debunked claims of increase in national service allowance.
This follows social media claims and other claims on ther news portals that the national service scheme has increase Personnels allowance from GH¢559 to GH¢799.
Speaking to Honestynewsgh, a coordinator of the National Service Scheme highlighted that the service is considering allowance increment for the Personnels but for now it has not been CONFIRMED yet.

” Information circulating on this matter should be considered as UNCONFIRMED. The NSS will make it official to the general public when I thing like this is confirmed” he told Honestynewsgh.

Ghanaian students who graduate from accredited tertiary institutions are required under law to do a one-year mandatory national service to the country.
The allowance of GHS559 has been an increment of their national service allowance from 569ghs to 799ghs with immediate effect.
According to the National service secretariat Mr Mustapha Ussif, the increment of personnels allowance was something that have been fought over for years till now and thank God by his grace it has been given a green light to take effect.
He further on urges all national service personnels all over the country at their various post to work hard and to remain calm as they are trying their best day in day out for their welfare in the service.
