NSS has announced postings for 106,223 personnel for the 2024/2025 service year. Learn how to check your placement and complete the validation process before service begins on October 1, 2024.
The National Service Scheme (NSS) has officially released postings for 106,223 National Service personnel for the 2024/2025 service year as of September 6, 2024. These postings involve the 2024 batch of graduates from all accredited universities in Ghana. The NSS management also announced that a mop-up exercise will be conducted for any remaining unassigned personnel.
The scheme urges all deployed personnel to follow the registration and validation process outlined below:
Steps for National Service Registration:
A. Check Placement:
- Visit the NSS website at www.nss.gov.gh to check your posting details.
B. Print Appointment Letter:
- Print your appointment letter from the website and proceed to your place of posting for endorsement.
C. Book Appointment for Registration:
- After getting your appointment letter endorsed, book an appointment online for a specific date and time to complete the registration process.
D. Complete Registration:
- Proceed to the assigned Regional Validation and Registration Centre with your endorsed appointment letter and a valid Ghana Card to complete your registration.
Important Dates:
- Registration Period: From Thursday, September 12, 2024, to Monday, September 30, 2024.
- National Service Start Date: Tuesday, October 1, 2024.
Additional Information:
The NSS has emphasized that reposting is not allowed. All personnel are encouraged to accept their placements as an important part of their national duty and contribution to national development.
