The National Service Authority has released PIN codes for 6,867 qualified nurses and midwives to begin enrolment for the 2026/27 National Service Year.

PIN Codes Released for Qualified Nurses and Midwives

The National Service Authority (NSA) has officially released Personal Identification Number (PIN) codes for 6,867 nurses and midwives to enable them to enrol for the 2026/2027 National Service Year.

The announcement was made through an official press release issued by the Authority on January 19, 2026.

Who Qualifies for the Released PIN Codes

According to the NSA, the released PIN codes cover candidates who successfully passed the March/April 2025 Minor Season Licensing Examinations conducted by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Ghana.

The PIN codes were generated after the Council submitted a validated list of qualified nurses and midwives to the Authority on January 16, 2026.

How to Access the PIN Codes

All eligible nurses and midwives are required to visit the official National Service Authority website to access their PIN codes.

Candidates must log onto the portal using their Student Identification Number and date of birth to retrieve their details.

Registration Fee Requirement

As part of the enrolment process, prospective service personnel are required to pay a registration fee of GHS 41.00.

The payment must be made via mobile money across all networks before access to the enrolment platform is granted.

Enrolment Timeline

The enrolment exercise officially commenced on January 19, 2026, and is expected to end on January 23, 2026.

The Authority has urged all qualified applicants to complete their registration within the stipulated period to avoid disqualification.

Reminder on National Service Obligation

The NSA further reminded the public that under the National Service Authority Act, 2024 (Act 1119), all Ghanaian citizens aged 18 years or older who have completed an accredited tertiary institution are legally required to undertake national service.

This obligation applies to graduates from universities, nursing training colleges, and other recognised tertiary institutions.
