Madam Rejoice Makafui Tsotorvor of Akatsi College of Education has been honoured as the Most Outstanding College of Education Lecturer in Ghana, receiving a brand-new 4×4 pickup at the 2025 National Teaching Awards.


Akatsi College of Education Shines at the 2025 National Teaching Awards

The 2025 National Teaching Awards ceremony was marked by excitement and national pride as Madam Rejoice Makafui Tsotorvor, a lecturer at Akatsi College of Education, emerged as the Most Outstanding College of Education Lecturer in Ghana. The event, organised by the Ghana Education Service (GES) in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, took place in Accra and honoured teachers and educationists who have demonstrated exceptional dedication, innovation, and leadership in their respective institutions.

The Director-General of the Ghana Education Service, Prof. Kofi Davis, also commended Akatsi College of Education for its consistent performance in teacher preparation and innovation in classroom practice.
