Koforidua SDA College of Education has made history by becoming the first teacher training institution in Ghana to benefit from the government’s transformative No Fees Stress Policy.
Announced by President John Dramani Mahama and officially launched at the college campus on July 4, 2025, the policy aims to remove financial barriers to higher education by covering academic user fees for first-year students through the Student Loan Trust Fund (SLTF).
The launch event saw the presence of key dignitaries including the Minister for Education, Hon. Haruna Iddrisu, and SLTF CEO Nana Akomea, who outlined implementation procedures and the long-term goals of the initiative.

Under the policy, newly admitted students at Koforidua SDA can:
- Enroll without paying upfront academic fees
