 THE KWAME NKRUMAH UNIVERSITY OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY, KUMASI  (knust) announces for the information of 2019 Graduands and the General Public that it would hold its53rd Congregation from MONDAY, JULY 22 to SATURDAY, JULY 27, 2019.GRADUANDS who completed their Programmes of Study in May, 2019 would be presented at the Ceremony.
Accordingly, those who wish to be presented are requested to register and pay GHC 300.00 in CASH at any of the following banks: ECOBANK, GCB, UBA, GT BANK GHANA, CAL BANK, REPUBLIC BANK, BARCLAYS BANK, CBG and STANDARD CHARTERED BANK.
After payment, Graduands are to log onto the KNUST Students’ Portal (apps.knust.edu.gh/students) or the KNUST AIM Mobile App and print their receipt which should be presented at their VARIOUS COLLEGES to collect their Academic Gowns and other Graduation items.
However, Graduands of KNUST School of Business, Faculty of Social Sciences, Faculty of Law, College of Health Sciences and the Institute of Distance Learning are to present their receipts at the Casely-Hayford Building (IDL) and collect their gowns and other items.
The graduation fee covers Congregation Publications, Hiring of Academic Gowns, Official Photographs, Certificate Holders, University Souvenirs, Administrative Costs, etc.

Graduands are required to provide the following information at the Bank:
  • Full Name
  • Programme of Study
  • Examination Index Number
  • Student ID Number
  • Contact Address
  • Telephone/ Cell phone Number
  • Email Address
Those to be presented would be expected to be seated THIRTY (30) MINUTES before the commencement of each Programme in the Academic Gown appropriate to their Programme of Study or College and worn preferably over a suit/jacket or other suitable but decent dress.REHEARSALS for Graduands attending the 53rd Congregation would be as follows:
