JUST IN: NSS Personnel cry foul over unauthorised GHC 50 deduction from their allowances

National Service Personnel across the country have shown their anger towards the National Service Secretariate’s mandatory deduction of GHC50 from the personnel allowances in the month of March without authorization from the personnel.

The personnel have accused the National Service Secretariate for taking their monies without prior notice.

Speaking to EducationGhana’s Ellis Ferdinand, some of the personnel said the deduction was meant for an NSS Cloth which was not communicated to them before the deduction.

The personnel further indicated, not all members received the cloth from their leaders even though it was deducted without their consent.

The personnel also blamed their leadership for not working on their belaves as expected.

They however said they shall petition the NSS Secretariate on the latest development.
