JUST IN: Nation-wide Payroll and Personnel Verification Audit begins June 18

The Auditor-General, under the Auspices of the Public Financial Management Reform Project (PFMRP),a World Bank-funded project, will begin a nationwide Payroll and Personnel Verification Audit of the Government of Ghana (GoG) payroll on June 18, 2018.

The exercise is expected to be carried out in Phases and on a Regional basis, of which the Central Region is expected to begin the exercise.

The auditing is expected to cover all Government institutions, including; The Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs); Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assemblies (MMDAs) and Public Universities.

All government employees are expected to get ready for the exercise which is expected to begin in the Central Region from June 18 to July 2, 2018, while the dates for other regions will be communicated in due course.

For easy identification, all employees are expected to go to work with at least two of the following Identification Documents :

  1. National Identification Card
  2. Driver’s License
  3. Passport
  4. Voter’s ID
  5. SSNIT card
  6. Biometric Registration Slip

Employees are also expected to come along with;

  1. Most Current Payslip
  2. Most Recent Educational Certificate
  3. Latest Promotion or Appointment Letter.
